let the no.be x
48=3x+4x+5x
12x=48
x=48/12
x=4

let the ratio constant be =x
3x + 4x + 5x = 48
12x = 48
x = 48÷12
= 4
sides are --
12, 16, 20
for area..
s = 12+16+20=48\2
s= 24
area = √s( s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
=√ 24(24-12)(24-16)(24-20)
= √24×12×8×4
=√9216
= 96cm²
