given diagonal = 16 cm

According to Pythagoras theorem, we get :-

C² = (A²)+(B²)

16² = x²+x²

256 = 2x²

256-2= x²

254 = x²

x = √ 254

x = 16 (approximately)

Ans :- (a) 16 cm (✓)
