Given : Sides of a triangle are 12cm, 35cm and 37 cm

To find : Area of the triangle

Solution :-

First we will find its semiperimeter

Semiperimeter (S) = \dfrac{a + b + c}{2}

Here, a = 12cm, b = 35cm and c = 37cm

☛ S = \dfrac{12 + 35 + 37}{2}

☛ S = \dfrac{84}{2}

\boxed{\rm{Semiperimeter\:=\:42\:cm}}

Now, we will find the Area of the triangle

Area of triangle (A) = √s(s - a) (s - b) (s - c) [Heron's formula]

☛ A = √42(42 - 12) (42 - 35) (42 - 37)

☛ A = √42 × 30 × 7 × 5

☛ A = √(2 × 3 × 7) × (2 × 3 × 5) × (7 × 1) × (5 × 1)

By taking out the common factors

☛ A = √2² × 3² × 7² × 5² × 1²

☛ A = 2 × 3 × 7 × 5 × 1

\large{\boxed{\boxed{\rm{Area\:of\:traingle\:=\:210\:cm^2}}}}
