let initially edges be "a"

Heya!
--------

◾Let the side of the first cube be 'a'

=> Volume => a³----------------<1>

◾Let the side of the other cube be '2a'

=> Volume = (2a)³

=> 8a³ --------------------<2>

From <1> and <2> the volume has increased 8 times !!

▪so required Ratio is 1:8
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
