Dear Student,

● Answer -

Area = 2886 cm^2

● Explanation -

# Given -

4 sides of quadrilateral

a = 36 cm

b = 77 cm

c = 75 cm

d = 40 cm

# Solution -

Semiperimeter of given quadrilateral is given as -

s = (a + b + c + d) / 2

s = (36 + 77 + 75 + 40) / 2

s = 114 cm

Area of cyclic quadrilateral is calculated as -

Area = √[(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)(s-d)]

Area = √[(114-36)(114-77)(114-75)(114-40)]

Area = √(78×37×39×74)

Area = √(8328996)

Area = 2886 cm^2

Hence, area of cyclic quadrilateral is 2886 cm^2.
