Step-by-step explanation:

let each side be 3x

let another side be 5x

A.T.Q.

(3x + 5x)2 = 160

8x × 2 = 160

16x = 160

x = 160/16

x = 10

first side = 3×10 = 30cm

second side 5×10 = 50cm

Given,

Let the number be x

Sides of rectangle in ratio= 3x:5x

Length= 3x

Breadth=5x

Perimeter= 160cm

A/q

=) We know that Perimeter of rectangle

=) 160cm= 2(l+b)

=) 160cm= 2(3x+5x)

=) 160cm= 6x+10x

=) 160cm= 16x

=) x= 160/16

=) x= 10cm

So,

Length, 3x= 3×10cm= 30cm

Breadth,5x= 5×10cm= 50cm

hope it helps ☺️
