the sides of a reectangle in the reatco 3:4 and its
perimetere is 70 cm, find the length and breadth.

Answer:

Let by ratio constant = x
length =3x , breadth =4x
perimeter of rectangle = 2(a+b)
70 = 2( 3x + 4x )
70 = 2( 7x)
70/ 2=7x
35/7=x
5=x
Length= 3x = 3×5 = 15
Breadth = 4x = 4 × 5 = 20
