Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

In this question the height of the cone will be 7cm.

The slant height will be the hypotenuse of the right angled triangle.

The base of the triangle will be the circumference of the circular base of the cone.

Taking pie as 3.142 we can get the radius of the cone given the circumference.

Circumference = pie × 2r

24cm = 3.142 × 2 × r

r = 24/(3.142 × 2)

r = 3.819

Volume of a cone equals :

Volume = 1/3 × pie × r × r

Doing the substitution we have :

Volume = 1/3 × 3.142 × 3.819 × 3.819

= 15.28

= 15.28 cubic centimeters.

Answer: 4224 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

When the cone will be revolved the height will be 7 cm and radius 24 cm

Then we will apply the volume formula of cone which is 1/3πr^2h

Then we will put the values

1 X 22 X 24 X 24 X 7

3 X 7

= 22 X 8 X 24

= 4224 cm^2

Thank you
