Taking sides as 3x 4x 5x .
Can also be done through Pythagoras Theorem.

Let the common ratio be x
Sides= 3x, 4x, 5x

Now,

Perimeter means the sum of all the sides of a triangle.

Therefore,

3x + 4x + 5x = 12 (given)

 =  > 7x + 5x = 12

 =  > 12x = 12

 =  > x = 1  ans

Therefore, the sides are

3x= 3× 1= 3°

4x= 4× 1= 4°

5x= 5×1= 5°

Area of a triangle=
 \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height

= 1/2×3× 4

= 6 cm^2. ans
