The sides of a triangle are 100cm,120cm and 140 CM find its area.Use root 6=2.5

here,
      area of triangle by heron's formula =root s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

now,
           semiperimeter  's'= sum of all sides of triangle/2
            therefore,
                       100+120+140/2
                     =360/2
                    =180cm
now,
               area of triangle=root s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
                                       =root 180(180-100)(180-120)(180-140)
                                       =root 180(80)(60)(40)
                                       =2400 root 6 
from your information,root 6=2.5
     therefore,        =2400*2.5
                            =6000cm square
