Hey,
Let the sides be 1x, 2x and 2x,
So, perimeter = 500m^2
1x+2x+2x=500
5x=500
x=100m.
So, sides are 100m, 200m and 200m.

Now, area,
Semi-perimeter =100+200+200/2
=250m
So, area=√s(s-a) (s-b) (s-c)
=√250(250-100)(250-200)250-200
=√250*150*50*50
=9682.46m^2.

Hope this helps you buddy!!

=====================

let the sides be 1x,2x and 2x

perimeter of rectangle = 1st side +2 nd side+3rd side

so lts from an equation

=>500m ^{2}   =  1x+2x+2x

=>500m^{2} = 5x

=>x =  \frac{500}{5}

=>x=100

so 1x ,2x and 3x

=> 100x ,200x and 200x (multiply 100 for x)

=>[tex]Semi-perimeter =100+200+200/2 =250m [/tex]

=>So, area=√s(s-a) (s-b) (s-c)

=>=√250(250-100)(250-200)250-200

=√250*150*50*50

=9682.46m.²

hope it helps
