▶ Given :

↪ The sides of a triangle are in the form of consecutive even integer.

↪ Let the sides be x, x + 1, x + 2.

↪ Perimeter of the triangle = 48 cm

▶ To Find : The measure of each sides.

▶ Solution :

↪ Perimeter of a triangle = Sum of all the sides

↪ 48 = x + x + 1 + x + 2

↪ 3x + 3 = 48

↪ 3x = 48 - 3

↪ 3x = 45

↪ x = 15

↪ Sides of the triangle are 15, 16 and 17.

<b><i><u>So Simple

=> To find = Measure of each side

So ,

Let sides be x , x + 1 and x + 2

As we know Perimeter means sum of all sides

So ,

According to Question

48 = x + x + 1 + x + 2

48 = 3 x + 3

48 - 3 = 3 x

45 = 3 x

x = 45 / 3

x = 15

So ,

One side = 15 cm

Second side = 15 + 1

= 16 cm

Third side = 15 + 2

= 17 cm
