16x+18x+25x=590
59x=590
Therefore x=10
Thus smallest side is 16*10=160cm

Let the sides be 16x,18x and 25x
According to the question,
16x + 18x + 25x = 590
59x = 590
x = 590/59
.•. x = 10
16x = 160
18x = 180
25x = 250
.•. The shortest side of the triangle is 160m
