Answer:

Area of the triangle is 60√3 sq.cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The sides of a triangle are in the ratio 3:5:7

Perimeter of the triangle is 60 cm

Then,  3x+5x+7x = 60 => 15x = 60 => x = 4

Three sides of the triangle is 12 cm , 20 cm, 28 cm

We know that, area of triangle with three sides a, b, c  is √[s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)]  ; where s is semi perimeter of triangle

Now, semi perimeter of the triangle is 60/2 = 30 cm

Hence, area of the triangle is √[30(30-12)(30-20)(30-28)] = √[30×18×10×2] = 60√3 cm²
