QUESTION:-

_____________________

•The sides of a triangle are x, x+1 , 2x-1

And it's area is x√10 . Find the value of x.

_____________________

CONCEPT:-

_____________________

•(HERON FORMULA:)

the area of a triangle when the length of all three sides are known. Unlike other triangle area formulae, there is no need to calculate angles or other distances in the triangle first.

_____________________

SOLUTION:-

•semi perimeter = s1+s2+s3/2

.°. s = x+x+1+2x-1

.°. s=4x/2

.°. s=2x

_____________________

area of Δ =√s(s-a) (s-b) (s-c)

:\implies x√10 =√2x (2x -x) (2x -x+1)(2x -2x -1)

:\implies x√10 =√2x. x (x-1).1

:\implies x√10=√2x²(x-1)

:\implies x√10=x√2(x-1)

_____________________

SQUARING BOTH SIDE ,

then we get,

:\implies 10=2(x-1)

:\implies10=2x-2

:\implies 2x =10+2

:\implies 2x =12

:\implies \red{x=6}
