so diagonal of the rectangle is 2.5m

if we meet the corner of rectangle we will find a right angled triangle

so

hypotenuse^2 = length^2+ Breadth^2 (here

hypotenuse means diagonaln)

hypotenuse^ 2= 2^2+1.5^2

hypotenuse = (4+2.25)

hypotenuse = 6.25

hypotenuse = 2.5 m
