Step-by-step explanation:

area of triangle=

area \: of \: triangle =  \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c) }

 where \: s =  \frac{a + b + c}{2}  =  \frac{100 + 120 + 140}{2}  =  \frac{360}{2}  = 180

now \: area =  \sqrt{180(180 - 100)(180 - 140)(180 - 120)}  \\  =  \sqrt{180(80)(40)(60)}  \\  =  \sqrt{34560000 }  \\  =  \sqrt{576 \times 6 \times 10000}  \\  =  \sqrt{ {24}^{2}   \times {10}^{2} \times 6 }  \\  = 24 \times 10 \times  \sqrt{6 }  \\  = 240 \times 2.45 \\  = 588 {m}^{2}
