= x ×4×9 ÷100
= 36x÷100

second case

sum = x
T = 3 yrs
R = 18%
SI = PRT÷100
= x ×3× 18÷100
= 54x÷100

(54x÷100) - (36x÷100) = 216
54x - 36x ÷ 100 = 216
18x÷100 = 216
x = 216×100 ÷ 18 = 1200
