2) p = rs X

T = 3years

R = 10%

SI = SI2

according to the problem given

SI1--SI2= rs 114

SI = ptr/100

p/100 (tr--tr)=114

p/100 (4×9--3×10)=114

p/100 (36--30)=114

p/100×6=114

p=114×100/6

=rs.1900 is the principal (p)
