simple interest = PTR/100

given SI = 2100 , Principal = P = x , R = rate of interest = 10% ,T= Time = 3 years..

2100 = x * 3*10/100

2100*100/30 = x

7000 = x = principal amount

simple interest on the same sum for 1 years at 5%

7000*1*5/100 = 350
