The Simple Interest on a sum of money for 5 years at 6% p.a. is Rs 120 more than the simple interest on the same sum at 5% p.a. for 4 years. Find the sum invested

r=6%

s.i=ptr/100

=(x×5×6)/100

=3x/10

second case:-

p=x(as given in question)

t=4yrs

r=5%

s.i=ptr/100

=(x×4×5)/100

=1x/5

atq, (3x/10)=(1x/5)+120

=15x=10x+120

=15x-10x=120

=5x=120

=x=120/5

=x=60

sum of money(p)=60
