hey...

this is your answer .....

Given :-
P = Rs. 6250.
R = 4%.
T = 6 months = 1/2 yr.

We have to obtain S.I.

Using SI formula,
S.I.= \frac{PXRXT}{100}  \\ = \frac{6250X4X \frac{1}{2} }{100}  \\ = \frac{625X2}{10}  \\ = \frac{1250}{10}  \\ =125.

Hence, SI for the given Principle will be Rs. 125.

Let us also calculate the amount after 6 months.
AMOUNT = P + SI
= 6250 + 125
= 6375

Hence, the Simple interest will be Rs. 125 and amount will be Rs. 6375.

Hope this helps youou ......

Hi !

Given :-
Principle = Rs. 6250
Rate = 4%
Time = 6 months = 0.5 years.

Now.
             P  X  R  X T
SI = --------------------------------
                  100
           6250  X  4 X 0.5
SI = -----------------------------------
                  100

SI = 125.

Hence, simple interest is Rs. 125

Hope it helps
