a^a-b^b

Taking log 1st term separately=9a*log a

Taking log 2nd term separately=(a-1)*log(a-1)

Thus alog a-(a-1)*log *(a-1)

Solving,,,,we get,log(a-1) is approx. log(a-1)=c

(a-a=1)*c=c=log 99.

Thus 99^99–98^98 is approx. 99
