The size of pupil is adjusted by iris.

The iris is responsible for adjusting the diameter of the pupil to let more or less light in , it is a contractile structure consisting mainly of the smooth muscle surrounding the pupil. Light enters the eye through the pupil and the iris regulates the amount of light by controlling the size of pupil . It is a flat colored ring shape membrane behind the cornea of eye.
