ANSWER :

›»› The surface area of cone is 220 cm².

GIVEN :

  • The slant height of the cone is 10 cm and radius of base is 7cm.

TO FIND :

  • The surface area of the cone.

SOLUTION :

To find the Area of surface area of cone, we use the formula:-

❰ CSA of cone = πrl ❱

  • Slant height of cone (l) = 10 cm.
  • Radius of cone (r) = 7 cm.

According to given question,

On putting the given values in the formula, we get

⟶ CSA of cone = 22/7 * 7 * 10

⟶ CSA of cone = 22 * 1 * 10

⟶ CSA of cone = 22 * 10

CSA of cone = 220

Hence, the surface area of cone is 220 cm².

Extra Brainly Knowledge :

  • C.S.A of Cone = πrl
  • T.S.A of Cone = πr(l + r)
  • Volume of Cone = 1/3 πr²h

Where,

  • The value of π is 22/7 or 3.14.
  • r is the Radius of cone.
  • l is the Slant height of cone.
  • h is the Height of cone
