The slant height of a conical tent is 20 m with a depth of 16 m . Find the total cost of canvas required , if the rate of 1 m² of canvas is Rs 100.

slant height ( l) = 20 m
depth (height ) =16 m
now,
radius =root {l^2-h^2}
=root { 20^2-16^2}
=root {400-256} = 12 m

now ,
surface area of tent =pi.r .l
= 22/7 x 12 x 20 m^2
=754.28 m^2

now,
cost =surface area of tent x rate
=754.28 x 100 = 75428 Rs
