Answer:

Since the snakes are descendants of the reptiles family while a branch goes to some terrestrial lizards while some of them are modified in the form of snakes some scientists belive that snake had their limbs but during the course of evolution the limbs get seperated and snakes move their body to move ahead while we very well know that reptiles have teeth but snakes do not.

Explanation:

Snakes do not have teeth because chewing needs a larger surface area in the buccal cavity which is totally against the thin aerodynamic mouth of snake while there are some teeth in the snakes which gets modified for biting the prey or for protection.

Chewing leads to partial digestion of food but absence of chewing naturally replaced by high concentrated acids in the digestive system which can easily degrade bones too.

snakes don't have to prey everyday they eat once in a week after the prey they take about 7 days to digest what they eat.

Answer: ( this is a 2 marker from a past paper question right)

- swallowing the mouse whole increases the time taken for the snake to digest the mouse.

- this is because the entire mouse needs to be broken down by the enzymes produced by the snake.

( im not sure of this but i hope it helped)
