The solar spectrum can be classified into three categories depending on the wavelengths:

Ultra-violet light, visible light and Infra-red light.

The portion of the visible light is a type of electromagnetic radiation that ranges from wavelengths of violet light to red light.

This range of the visible light is visible to the naked eyes and it ranges from a wavelength of 400nm( violet) to 700 nm( red) .
