5
3x-2y=5-------1
- 5x+2y=19------2
-2x=-14------3
= 7
substitute x into equation 1
3(7)-2y=5
21-2y=5
-2y=5-21
=-16
y=8
∴x=7
y=8
- 5x+2y=19------2
-2x=-14------3
= 7
substitute x into equation 1
3(7)-2y=5
21-2y=5
-2y=5-21
=-16
y=8
∴x=7
y=8
