we get,

20x - 15y = 35. 3)

21x + 15y = 6. 4)

add eqn 1. and 2

20x - 15y = 35.

+ 21x + 15y = 6.

41x. = 41

x = 41/41

x = 1

put x =1. in eqn 4

21x + 15y = 6

21(1) + 15y = 6

21. + 15y = 6

15y = 6 - 21

y = -15/15

y = -1

x = 1 and y = -1
