by using elimination method

1st equation ×3 = 3x - 3y = 0

2nd equation ×1= 2x - 3y = 2

(-) (+) (-)

= x = - 2

sub x = -2 in eq 2

2(-2) - 3y = 2

-4 - 3y = 2

- 3y = 2 + 4

- 3y = 6

y = - 2

the final ans. is x = -2 and y = -2

Answer:

x= 2   & y=-2

Step-by-step explanation:

x-y=0................(i)

2x-3y=2

-    += -

-x+2y=-2

2+2y=x ........(ii)

Putting value of x in eq.(i)

2+2y-y=0

y=-2

And x=2
