The speaker says that the cage bird flutters it's sorrowful wings. Why are the wings described as being sorrowful?

bird special quality is their flying ..for flying they have wings ...wings are meant to fly ..but a cage bird is not able to fly at all ..that's why wings are being referred as sorrowful
