the specific heat of a gas at constant volume is 0.075cal/g, predict the atomicity of the gas. molar mass of gas is 40g/mole

here specific heat is given per gram convert it into molar specific heat as.....
Cv = 0.075*40 = 3.00 
 now find Cp = Cv +R  take value of R in calorie  i.e 2 cal/mol/k
 Cp = 3+2 =5 now find...
 gamma = Cp/Cv =5/3 =1.66 which is for monoatomic gas..........
