Hi Mate !!

Let the speed of Boat be x
and that of stream be y

• Speed in Upstream = ( Speed of boat - Speed of steam )

28 = x - y ...... ( i )

• Speed in Downstream = ( Speed of boat + speed of Stream )

32 = x + y ..... ( ii )

Adding ( i ) and ( ii )

x - y + x + y = 28 + 32

2x = 60

x = 60/2

x = 30

Putting value of x in ( i )

28 = x - y

28 = 30 - y

28 - 30 = - y

- 2 = - y

2 = y

So, the speed of Boat is ( x ) :- 30km/hr
speed of Stream is ( y ) :- 2km/hr

Answer:

Explanation: Here is the formula=Speed in still water=upstream speed+downstream speed/2

so, 28+32×1/2=30km/hr
