Intial Velocity(u)=25km/h=6.94m/s
Final velocity(v)=72km/h=20 m/s
Time(t)=5 second

Using Netwon 1 equation of motion

v=u+at
=20=6.94+a×5
20-6.94=5a
13.06=5a
a=13.06/5
a=2.61m/s

Accerlation=2.61 m/s
Aproxx=2.6m/s

QUESTION.

the speed of a bus increases from 25 km per hour to 72 km per hour in 5 second find the mean acceleration of the bus.

ANSWER

GIVEN
1km=1000m

1h=60×60=3600s

so,

1km/h=1000/3600

=>1km/h=5/18

Inital velocity is= 25kmh^-1
=25×(5/18)=6.95ms^-1
Final. velocity is= 72kmh^-1
=72×(5/18)=19.45ms^-1
Time=5secound

FORMULA USED.

 = \frac{final \: velocity \ - initial \: veocity}{time}

 \frac{19.45-6.95}{5}

=(19.45-6.95)/5

=2.6ms^-2
