Hi I have complete step by step solution for you

Speed of snail = 50 meter per hr or 0.05 km per hr

Speed of cheetah = 120 km per hr

Time = 1 hr or 60 min

To find ratio between the speed of the cheetah and snail :

Cheetah : snail

120 : 0.05

2400 : 1

So for every 2400 meter covered by the cheetah the snail would have covered only  1 meter

Solution :-

Speed of a garden snail = 50 meter per hour

Speed of a cheetah = 120 km per hour

Speed of the cheetah can be converted into meter per hour

1 km = 1000 m

120 km = 120*1000

= 120000 meter

So, speed of cheetah is 120000 meter per hour

Now, ratio of the speed of snail and the cheetah -

Snail : Cheetah = 50 : 120000

HCF of 50 and 120000 is 50

⇒ 50/50 = 1

⇒ 120000/50 = 2400

Ratio of speed of snail and cheetah = 1 : 2400

Or, the ratio of speed of cheetah and snail = 2400 : 1
