Answer:

The distance between P & Q is 100km.

Step-by-step explanation:

The speed of car A = x km/hr.

The speed of car B = (x + 20) km/ hr

Distance = speed x time

Mean speed =  Sum of the speeds/number of vehicles

mean speed = x + x + 20 / 2

mean speed = 2x + 20 / 2

mean speed = x + 10

In 5 hours , Distance covered by car A = (x) x 5 = 5x

In 5 hours, Distance covered by car B = (x+20) x 5 = 5x+100

Difference between the distance covered by car A and car B = 100km
