A point on the equator will travel more distance during one revolution than a corresponding point on the Arctic Circle. Since the elapsed time is the same, the point on the equator must be going at a faster rate. so speed is directly proportional to distance so speed is more at equator

Hi friend
As we go from equator to its arctic circle,the speed of rotation decreases ,this is because the distance from the axis of rotation decreases.
