The speed of the train increases from ABm/s to CDm/s in 40s. Write down the initial and final velocity of the train. What is the acceleration of the train?What is the displacement of the train doing this time period? Thanks

Answer:

Here

initial velocity = AB m/s

initial velocity = AB m/sfinal velocity = CD m/s

  • time = 40 seconds

acceleration = CD - AB ÷ 40 m/s

displacement = 40×AB+ ½(CD-AB)×40

= 40 AB + 20 CD - 20 AB

= 20( AB - CD) meters
