= 1/2 × 500 × 30²
= 250 × 900
= 225000 J
Final kinetic energy = 1/2 mv²
= 1/2 × 500 × 72²
= 250 × 5184
= 1296000 J
ΔKinetic energy = Final kinetic energy - Initial kinetic energy
= 1296000 - 225000
= 1071000 J
