Let depth of sea be d
Distance covered by signal will be 2d
Speed= 1440m/s
Time taken= 1.5s
Speed= Distance/Time
Distance= Speed x Time = 1440 x 1.5 = 2160 m
2d = 2160
d = 2160/2 = 1080 m

Answer:

Explanation:

Let depth of sea be d

Distance covered by signal will be 2d

Speed= 1440m/s

Time taken= 1.5s

Speed= Distance/Time

Distance= Speed x Time = 1440 x 1.5 = 2160 m

2d = 2160

d = 2160/2 = 1080 m
