The ratio between time taken by these cars is 6:4:3

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the distance covered = x

We know that speed = distance / time

⇒Time taken to cover the distance will be inversely proportional to its speed

So, Time taken  by car A=\frac{x}{2}\\

      Time taken  by car B=\frac{x}{3}

       Time taken  by car C=\frac{x}{4}

Also,ratio of time taken  by these three cars =(x/2) : (x/3) : (x/4)

                                                                 =(12x/2) : (12x/3) : (12x/4)

                                                                 = 6 : 4 : 3
