The Spider and the Fly is the Poem by the Mary Howitt (1799–1888) that has been mainly published on 1828. First line poem are 'Will you walk into my parlour?' are Spider to the Fly.
Story tells are cunning Spider who ensnares the naïve Fly with use of seduction as well as flattery. Poem is the cautionary tale against those who use flattery.
