(7 + 9 + 11 + 13 + 15) / 5 = 11

(7 - 11)^2 = 16
(9 - 11)^2 = 4
(11 - 11)^2 = 0
(13 - 11)^2 = 4
(15 - 11)^2 = 16

√[(16 + 4 + 0 + 4 + 16) / 5]
√(40 / 5)
√8
2√2

Answer:

2√2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the standard deviation for the data 7,9,11,13,15 is

First we need to find the mean of the following data.

So 7 + 9 + 11 + 13 + 15 / 5 = 11

 After this we have to find x = x - x1 and (x - x1)^2. x are the values and x1 is the mean.

 (7 - 11)^2  = 4^2 = 16

  (9 - 11)^2 = 2^2 = 4

  (11 - 11)^2 = 0 =     0

  (13 - 11)^2 = 2^2 = 4

   (15 - 11)^2 = 4^2 = 16

Mean deviation = √∑x^2 / N

                        = √40/5

                      = √8

                    = 2√2
