Standard deviation of given set of observations is 0.

  • Given data

         10, 10, 10, 10, 10

  • Mean of data = (sum of observations)/(number of observations)

                               = \frac{10+10+10+10+10}{5}

                               = \frac{50}{5}

                               = 10

  • Standard deviation is measure of dispersion of set of data from its mean.

                  x_{i}                  x_{i}  - mean(10)

                 10                  10 - 10 = 0

                 10                  10 - 10 = 0

                 10                  10 - 10 = 0

                 10                  10 - 10 = 0

                 10                  10 - 10 = 0

  • Since all x_{i} - mean are zeroes, standard deviation of the given set of data is zero.
