The staple diet of North Indians is mainly wheat because suitable climatic conditions,fertile soil,altitude and all the other fundamemtal and necessary factors are present.Also due to many other reasons the cultivation of wheat is like a cake walk for them. Hence,there is a large production of wheat in northern India due to which wheat is their staple diet
