In the story of "Storeyed house" ,Bayaji treated as untouchables. In the story, caste discrimination is the major part in the story. due to this bayaji's new storeyed house is set on fire because he is a inferior to village.

Answer:

Hey mate!! Here is ur answer..

Explanation:

In the lesson "The Storeyed House" it gives a clear and complete information about the situations and also it depicts about the caste related problems faced by the low caste people or the people of untouchables..

So, as per the lesson contrast it gives us the idea about the circumstances and also the problems of the people of untouchables and low caste people were giving no respect in the society and having no rights to a better life..

But now,.. the situations are changed..

Infact the situations are getting better a lot..

According to the constitution of India today every citizen and not according to the caste, creed, gander, race and religion every person will be having all equal rights in the nation of India..

So, by this we can say that the lesson "The Storeyed House" is a powerful symbol of Dalit empowerment in India..

Thank you for asking your question mate..
