Kabeer spoke about the unsung heroes of November 2008 terrorist attacks on Mumbai.
1. Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the 31 year old NSG commando, who was among the soldiers deployed to clear Hotel Taj of the terrorists. In the fierce encounter with the terrorists, the brave Major Unnikrishnan lost his life but his sacrifice is still present among us.
2. Vishnu Dattaram Zende, who had been working as an announcer with the Mumbau Railways for ten years. On Nivember 26, when he heard a loud explosion at one end of the railway platform, he guessed that something was wrong. He did not run for his life. Instead, he began to make announcements telling people to move out from a different exit. How much brave and courageous people were present in India and are still there. Salute to Vishnu Dattaram who have not worried about himself and helped thousands of lives.
3. Karambeer Singh Kang, the Generalanager of the Taj, played a major role in evacuating the guests safely from the hotel. Look at bis courage, without helping his own wife and children, who were tralped in a room and died of suffocation, he tried to help his guests.
4. Anti-Terrorism Squad Chief, Hemant Karkare who was gunned down by the terrorists along with his comrades, when he was chasing them in a jeep. Selfless, courage and their braveness would made India terror-free one day!
5. Mohammed Taufeeq Sheik (Chotu Chaiwala), a young boy who ran tea stall outside CST station had took a lot of efforts in transporting the injured to St. George Hospital.
6. Sandra Samuel, an Indian nanny who saved the life of a two year old Moshe Holtzberg, when both his parents were killed by the terrorists in the Nariman House, a Jewish outreach centre.
7. The Caretakers of 'Kabristans' (cemeteries) refused to burry dead terrorists. Their act proved that terrorism had no religion.
India would one day certainly be terror free and become the topmost country in the world.
Hope you got help from this matter!
