The story 'the summer with the beautiful white horse' brings home the point that it is not easy to decide what is right & what is wrong. Justify.

It is true conscience is not fully functional in most of the human beings. Even the ones considered as the best role models, lack this differentiation between the right and wrong. In the present story's context, we see Mourad and Aram both fail to take the conscientious decision of returning the stolen horse to its rightful owner, John Byro. Mourad appears to be a bigger culprit, as it was he who stole the horse in the first place (though only for riding). Even Aram didn't want the horse to be returned until he had learnt riding thoroughly. Both of them must not have given in to the temptation. After all, they belonged to a tribe that was known for their integrity and self-pride. If they had been caught red-handed riding the horse, the entire tribe would lose their reputation.
