The stream point and ice point of a mercury thermometer arearked as 80 degree and 10 degree. At what temperature on centigrade scale the reading of thermometer will be 59 degree??

First you need to derive a relation between the given thermometer and centigrade scale thermometer right?
Do you know the way?
and the answer will be 70 Centigrade.
C for thermometer and X for new thermometer

C/100={X-10}/70
simply put the value X=59 which is given.
and you will get
C=70
